James has extensive experience in litigation and construction disputes.

He began his career as an Associate to a Judge of the District Court of Queensland before moving into private practice in 2025, where he chose to specialise in construction law. 

James acts for clients in a wide range of construction and infrastructure disputes, from security of payment matters to complex international arbitrations. He draws on his courtroom experience to achieve strong results for his clients.
